Jake Brus is a marketing and branding professional who recently graduated with his MA in Public Communication from the American University. During this time, Jake became increasingly interested in branding, and while writing his thesis chose to combine his newfound passion with an old one—travel. 50 pages and 3 months later, Jake emerged with a strong understanding of place branding and the unique challenges it poses for both the professional and the place. This blog is meant to be his view on the practice of place branding, as well as the subject of branding and his life in general.
